At the HS level in the US, it's not that hard for these players to standout and dominate your opponents.

The real competition & test is to come.

Competition that will put their skillset under immense pressure.

How do they respond when they're now surrounded with players as strong & skilled as them - are they preparing for that?

It's easy to sugar-coat performances when they're the go-to player right now.

Look, I'm all about celebrating and cheering these players on.

I'm in their corner. I want to see them shine - and succeed.

But for those players that have the big dreams and goals on the field....

(possibly to play in a home World Cup in a few years?)

They NEED to know this ⬇️

And as coaches we need to tell them.

Because if we don't, they will get exposed quickly.

"Understand where they're at in relation to where they want to go."

AN UPGRADE IS REQUIRED 👀

You can get away with loads at the lower level that will 1000% get exposed at the next level.

For every level they go up - everything requires an upgrade.

Just like a video game, it gets more challenging not the other way around 🎮
